From a simple garden to a beautiful green space for butterfly and bees.
My experience with Walter Eco Design was exceptional and very professional. Walter was always communicative with the things I wanted for my backyard and front yard. We love green spaces because is very important for the environment specifically for butterflies and bees. I love being outside and relaxing with the fresh breeze, Walter did a really good job on capturing what I was looking for my garden. He also advised me on how to take care of my garden so it will always look good.

I am very pleased with the landscaping work provided by Walter Martinez. My front yard was transformed from a “near desert” to a beautiful floral showcase. I have had people passing the house, on foot and by car, stop to tell me how beautiful the yard is. Walter was able to recommend different flowers and plants that would do well for the climate and the conditions of my particular yard. He was very timely in giving me my estimate and started the work promptly, at my convenience. The work was done in a matter of a few days. I was so impressed with Walter and his crew, that I discontinued the yard maintenance crew that I had at the time, and now use his lawn care and maintenance crew. Shortly, he will be landscaping my backyard. I highly recommend Walter if you want a professional and knowledgeable designer and landscaper.

What does a typical project cost?
Residential landscape installations typically range from $3,500 for focused garden installs to $25,000+ for full property transformations. Design-only packages start at $800. Every project receives an itemized quote after the free consultation — no surprises.
Do I get to see the design before you start?
Always. You receive a full AutoCAD site plan and 3D color rendering before a single plant is purchased. You approve every element. If you want changes, we revise until it's right.
How long does a project take?
Design delivery is typically 5–10 business days after consultation. Installation varies — a focused garden install takes 1–2 days, while a full property transformation may take 3–7 days.
Do you handle irrigation too?
Yes — Walter is a irrigator. Irrigation is designed into every landscape plan from day one, not added as an afterthought. We also handle existing system repairs and smart controller installations.
Do you work with HOAs?
Regularly. Our AutoCAD plans and professional documentation are formatted for HOA submission. We've successfully navigated approvals across Katy, Sugar Land, and surrounding communities.
